Tailwind Jacket in Navy

Tailwind Jacket is UMU’s first outdoor clothing and we love it! The jacket is made of waterproof 3-layer softshell material, meeting the requirements of Oeko-Tex certificate. This 3-layer fabric is perfect for autumns and springs with rain and wind, as it will keep you warm and dry. All the layers of the fabric have their own characteristics – the one on the inside is a fleece layer for warmth, the intermediate one is a breathable membrane which ventilates and keeps moisture out, the outside layer is water-repellent.

Our Tailwind Jacket has a wider fit, two-way zipper in front, two massive pockets for storing everything and a nice hood that keeps your hair and head dry when raining. Our jacket can be worn straight, but there is also an elastic band in the bottom part of the jacket so you can tighten the jacket from the bottom for a tighter fit. The sleeves have soft inner cuffs that have holes for thumbs – for the times when you have managed to leave your gloves at home. Tailwind Jacket has two reflectors – UMU’s logo in front and a patterned reflector at the back.

Our model is 168 cm and wears size L.

Every UMU piece is designed in Estonia and made to order in our Tallinn studio. One by one. With careful attention to detail. This process takes more time and effort than mass production but it means less waste, fair work for local makers, and a garment that truly lasts. While your item is created especially for you, we still aim to complete and ship orders within 7 business days or sooner.

We prioritize materials that are kind to both the environment and the people who make and wear our garments. Most of our fabric selection is certified by either GOTS or OEKOTEX, ensuring organic and eco-friendly quality. All our fabrics are sourced from trusted suppliers in Europe.

Do not over-wash. Reduce your environmental impact and help this item last longer. Wash in cool water (up to 30° C), machine wash program for delicate laundry. Use a mild detergent. Iron on low heat. Dryer and bleaching not allowed. Dry cleaning allowed.
